The Tekonsha P3 works great for towing. All trailer lights work and there is 12 volt power charging the trailer house batteries. I did a test drive and I noticed nice even braking on the trailer brakes. So, I am happy with the Tekonsha P3.

Since my truck has a built in controller, I no longer have a need for my P3, so I’m selling it for a great price. It works as new, includes wiring harness I had used the Tekonsha P3 on another vehicle and liked it, at the time it was $180. However when I checked online prices it had come down to $130 which really wasn't bad. One complaint I always had about it was the screen was just too bright at night in the other vehicle (as it was mounted near the headlight switch).
